2008 Chapter Awards
- Kevin Pavloski was a Top Ten Greek Man
- Matt Hamilton was the President of the Year
- Sigma Nu received 5 Stars of Fraternal Excellence - 2008 was the first year Sigma Nu ever achieved the five star award. The five star award is an award based on five different criteria. Chapter Operations, Membership Development, Membership Recruitment, Public Relations, and Social Programming. To achieve a star you must present documention for 75% or more of the criteria in each star.
- Sigma Nu also recieved the President's Award - 2008 was also the first time Sigma Nu ever achieved the President's Award for Fraternal Excellence. For this award you must score 80% or better in all five stars. Sigma Nu scored a perfect 100% in Chapter Operations and Membership Recruitment. The President's Award for Fraternal Excellence is the highest honor a fraternity can win here at Eastern Illinois.

- Tony Gulli and Paul Lucas were Top Ten Greek Men
- Paul Lucas was IFC Cabinet Member of the Year
- Paul Lucas won the Charles “tight” Carter Award for IFC
- Paul Lucas won the President of the Year Award
- Sigma Nu received 4 Stars of Fraternal Excellence
